London Borough Market

Daddy-to-be and I stole an hour at Borough Market during the lunch break today. Can only conclude that we should do it more often.

It's one of London's best attractions I think. Too busy on a Saturday but perfect on a not too sunny Friday.
We had salt beef sandwiches for lunch and got some foccachia bread and parmesan cheese to bring along for dinner.

It's a bit pricy but for the occasional treat and for the goodness of supporting independent producers it's well worth it.

We concluded that little CotW won't be coming to Borough Market too soon. Too busy and crowded. But Barnes, nearby where we live, has a lovely farmers' market on a Saturday, right next to the duck pond. How exciting!

  1. Sounds like you had a perfect lunch date :). Farmers market and duck pond sounds perfect for a family day on saturday. It's sad that we don't have farmers market in Sweden, at least not in SkellefteƄ.
