Mirror Mirror Upon the Wall

This morning Alice for the first time reacted to seeing her face in the mirror. It was a puzzled look and she kept looking and looking wondering who that person on the wall was. The prettiest of them all of course!

Rest of the day today "we" will aim to finish the invite to the baptism. Has only taken me a few days to finalise this donation page: http://www.justgiving.com/AliceBurston

Friends and family have been tremendously generous, showering Alice with gifts following her birth. When leaving the hospital we were thinking about how we could 'repay' for all the fantastic care. We thought about making a donation to the Born Too Soon charity for Christmas. But so the baptism came up and we're taking this approach as a way to both limit the number of presents and support the Neonatal Unit at Kingston Hospital.

I have a vague plan to also make some banana bread today as there are a couple of brown/black bananas hanging around. Not keeping my hopes too high that we'll manage.

Tomorrow is a big day as little CotW and I will head in to London to apply for her Swedish passport. We should have gone on Monday but I had missed that we needed the signature of two witnesses for the Guardian Certificate, so we had to re-schedule.

Time to get on with the day!
